Doppio Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
In short: Doppio collects no personal data, has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and never connects to the internet.
What Doppio does
Doppio is a menu bar app that keeps your Mac awake. It does this with Apple's standard power-management feature, and only while you have asked it to.
Information we collect
None. Doppio does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any information about you or how you use your Mac. It contains no analytics, tracking or advertising code, and it makes no network connections.
Information that stays on your Mac
- Settings — your choices (for example the apps that turn Doppio on, or your default duration) are saved in Doppio's own preferences on your Mac.
- Calendar — only if you turn on “During Calendar Events”, Doppio asks for calendar access and reads the times of your current events to decide whether to keep your Mac awake. Event details are read on your Mac, are not stored by Doppio and never leave your Mac. You can withdraw access at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars.
- Running apps — to offer “Until a Task Finishes” and “While These Apps Are Running”, Doppio looks at which apps are open on your Mac. This information is used only at that moment and is not recorded.
- Notifications — if you allow them, Doppio shows a local notification when a task finishes. No notification is sent through any server.
Children
Doppio does not collect data from anyone, including children.
